Often have we heard people calling themselves homesick once shifted to a new city, thats natural. But its not that easy as it seems. People go places for work . career, better living etc. and this brings so many challenges too. The only combat to this is to deal with it end it up into a life time experience.

Exploration can really help in this case. The new one has to struggle with the budgets, language, norms, cutlure and what not. One of the plus factor could be a relative or an acquaitance already staying there or any colleague who could give a better idea of the place. Residence also comes with so many choices that it becomes increasingly confusing. In this stituation what helps the most is to surf the local newspaper and consult a reliable property consultant. Then comes the idea of entertainment.  Every city offers its own charms , you can name it as natural beauty or happening night life. Weekly time outs are a good  city guide for the new explorers. It offers all that you want from food to shopping, you name it.

Another feature to focus is the trsut factor. One has to experiment for the first time for obvious reasons an d personal judgemnet helps you there. It should be taken as a learning experience. Asking people around and taking an initiative can definitely help the new expats. No to forget one of the most crucial elements i.e. the legal hitches and rules. Its always safe to take prior information rather than being a penalty payer. 

Thus, settling down ina new place isnt that hard of a job if done with prior information about the place and self exploration  along with the help of existing dwellers. Its advisable to have a prepared appraoch before taking a step ahead. Good Luck!!
