Making decisions is quite essential in our day to day lives, and the decisions we make today can either make our mar our future. For this reason it is important for us as individuals to make good and well calculated decisions that will enhance a purposeful life. 1. Avoid Rush. We must avoid rush in every sense of the word. Each time we rush into doing something in life we are apt to make terrible mistakes that will cost dearly. Sometimes this rush could be as a result of getting excited and hasty to accomplish a particular task at hand.

4. Always Have a Plan B. A second option in every plan is very important. A man who has no alternative in his plan is bound to fail as his plans are limited. On the other hand the man who has two or more options will certainly achieve result. This is because when one plan fails he quickly executes the other.
5. Weigh the Advantage Over the Disadvantage. The advantage of one thing over the other is essential. For instance, if there are more advantages than disadvantages in exercise in order to lose weight, then get enrolled in a gym.
6. Pray to God Almighty. This only works for those who believe in God Almighty, the Creator of the entire world. Adherents to this God will surely find out that each time he prays there is an open heaven waiting to receive their prayer and reply them. Each time you say this prayer with all sincerity of heart and purpose you get an answer with God filling your heart with peace (a sign that your decision has passed the litmus test.)
7. Fill Your Hearts With Positive Thoughts. A man who thinks positively is able to make wise decisions. This is because he is using every available tool in his mind to project a positive image of everything he lays his hands to do. The end result to such a thought produces great achievement.
