Iron Man 2

I have really been waiting for this sequel to be released. Iron Man 2 is a sequel to the 2008 blockbuster movie Iron Man.It is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name from Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures.It is Directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Ironman. Six months after the first movie, after revealing his identity as Ironman, strives for world peace. The United States Senate Committee demands that Stark release his Ironman technology for military use. But Stark refuses. Stark learns that the arc reacter which is keeping him alive contains palladium and is slowly poisoning him. He tries his best to find an alternate element but does not succeed. He appoints his personal assistant, Pepper Potts as CEO of Stark Industries and appoints Natalie Rushman in her place. He is attacked by Ivan Venko while he is participating in a race in Monaco. Venko has constructed a miniature arc reactor and whip- like energy weapons. Vanko is the son of his father's old business partner, disgraced Russian physicist Anton Vanko, who collaborated on the first arc reactor. He believes that Howard Stark betrayed him by having Venko's father deported back to the Soviet Union in order to receive all the credit for the arc reactor. So he blames Tony and Howard Stark for his fathers death and seeks to exact revenge. Stark throws his last birthday party and gets drunk wearing the Iron Man armor and becomes a danger to himself and others. His friend Colonet Rhodes takes the Silver Mark II armor and fights Tony and delivers it to the military. He is met by Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D who reveals that Natalie is an undercover agent. He also provides Tony his fathers things which he hopes to use for his Palladium poisoning. Fury reveals to Tony that his father was one of the founder of S.H.I.E.L.D.Stark realizes his father has left him a hidden message in the original diorama of the 1974 Stark Expo; the model is also a diagram of the atomic structure of an unknown element, which Howard was unable to synthesize due to the limits of his era's technology. Tony builds a particle accelerator (held up partially by a halfway-constructed shield) in his home with the aid of his computer J.A.R.V.I.S. and creates the new element. The element is then loaded into a modified arc reactor chest piece and cures Stark's palladium poisoning. Afterward, Ivan contacts Stark, revealing that he is still alive and set on revenge. At the Expo Hammer unveils his new military drones lead by Colonet Rhodes in a heavy weaponized version of the Mark II Armor. Iron man arrives to warn Rhodes but Venko obtains control of both the drones and the armor and makes them to attack Iron Man. While Stark is battling these enemies Pepper Potts has Hammer arrested. Starks bodyguard and Natalie race to Hammers facility to stop Venko. But unfortunately Venko has left with a very powerful suit of armor. But they were able to restore control to Rhodes so that he and Iron Man could fight together. After defeating the drones Colonet Rhodes and Iron Man try to defeat Venko but do not succeed. But they use their repulsor rays combinedly and defeat him. But Venko manages to initiate a self-destruction to the armor and the drones. While they are about to blow, Stark races to save Pepper and takes her to a nearby rooftop. There she admits that being CEO is a very difficult job and they both kiss.Later Fury informs Stark that he cannot use the armor again but a more suitable person will be given the responsibility. Stark agrees to this on the condition that he and Rhodes receive medals for bravery.The movie was very good.The story was fantastic. I hope it will be a blockbuster.
