Jaisalmer Fort:

This marvelous fort was constructed by Bhati ruler Jaisal in the year of 1156 on the Trikuta Hill. It is also well famed as the “Sonar Quila”. This fort is the second primitive fort in Rajasthan. It has four unique and beautiful entrance gates such as Hawa Pol, Rang Pol, Ganesh Pol, and Jawahar Pol. In this fort, there are located a marvelous palace, i.e. famed as Rajmahal and the temples of Laxminath & Jain temples.

There are located the main attraction of Jaisalmer, havelis; that captures the huge number of tourists, such as:

Salim Singh Ki Haveli:

This marvelous Haveli was constructed by Salim Singh in the year of 1815. At that time, he was the prime minister of the Jaisalmer. The roof had been constructed in the shape of a peacock. This Haveli is located beside the hills closely the Jaisalmer Fort. In this Haveli, there are located number of rooms, wall paintings, and corridors.

Patwaon Ki Haveli:

This is the biggest and most captivating Haveli of Jaisalmer. It was made in the year of 1805 by Guman Chand Patwa. It is the collection of five small Havelis. All five small Havelis were built in the first 60 years of the 19th century.

Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli:

This Haveli was again constructed by prime minister Nath Singh of Jaisalmer in the 19th century. It is decorated with beautiful embellishment of birds, flowers, elephants, soldiers, a bicycle, and stream engine. There are constructed two marvelous elephants with yellow stone which are extraordinary in it.

Shreenath Ji Ki Haveli:

It was constructed by Vyas Family and their descendants that are living here at present in the 15th century. The remaining part of this Haveli is changed into a hotel i.e. Haveli Shreenath Palace. Now, There are located only five rooms.

Jain Heritage of Jaisalmer:

Jaisalmer was always occupied by many Jain families. We can watch the marvelous Jain temples that is belong to the Lord Sai Nath i.e. 16th Tirthankar and Lord Parshvanath i.e. 23th Tirthankar. In Jaisalmer, there are located the other pilgrimages center, i.e. Pokharan, Amarsagar, Brahmsar, and Lodavara.
