Bridal Shower Party Theme Ideas, Part 2
Looking for great bridal shower party theme ideas? The bridal shower should not only be fun for the bride but also a treat for your guests. Traditionally, the bridal shower is put on by the bride's family or the maid or matron of honor. But I encourage planners to think out of the box here. We've all attended the typical, boring bridal shower. Bring some life to your party by adding a theme. I also hear many brides say they aren't comfortable with being the center of attention. A themed bridal shower can include other activities or focuses and helps to divert some of this attention.
When you begin your planning, keep in mind what you think would appeal to the bride. Consider her favorite activity, food, era of music, etc. Does she love to ski, hike, cook? Is her favorite food Italian, her favorite drink espresso? Sometimes choosing a bridal shower theme can be as easy as choosing one of the brides favorites. For example:
Does she love to cook? Title the shower "A Recipe for Love". A cooking theme can be a great way to help outfit the new bride's kitchen. Have the guests bring a kitchen or baking related gift. Include a recipe card with the invitations asking each guest to fill it out with their favorite recipe and bring it to the shower. Have a recipe box or book ready at the shower to place all the recipes in. If the bride is a little more of a techie, go for The Recipe Box App from iTunes. Guests email their favorite recipe to you in advance to be placed on a memory stick for easy upload onto the bride's ipad or other similar device.
Another one of my favorite bridal shower theme is "A Slice of Love". This can be tweaked several different ways depending on your bride. Consider a desert shower - lots of slices of pie and cake. How about a gourmet pizza shower? Yes, we're thinking out of the box here. Serve up different varieties of homemade pizza or have mini crusts and toppings available for guests to create their own custom pizza. A perfect shower favor for this theme is pizza cutters. You can find small versions of these on-line that are printed with your theme, "Slice of Love"!
How about a shower that pampers both the bride and your guests? This theme is called "The Love Files" because your guests will be getting pedicures. Many salons offer on-site services and will come to your home or shower venue to pamper the ladies. The perfect favor for your guests is a small manicure kit. When choosing this theme, make sure your guests know to bring flip-flop's with them so they don't ruin their new pedi!
There are so many wonderful bridal shower party theme ideas! It can be as simple as a saying or expression that you build on. Try to incorporate the theme throughout the entire shower - invites, decorations, menu and favors. Think outside the box to plan a bridal shower your guests will remember!

John,What will save your son is your love and respect and communication and the examples you show him with *your* behavior. Do you truly want to demonstrate that his father is one secretly spying on him? The message--spoken or not--you are sending to your son is this: his own father does not trust him, his own father cannot sit down and tell his son his own feelings and fears, but instead spies secretly upon him. Learn to talk from your heart to his or you will have make much grief.

You cannot describe love as "a problem teenagers fall into". This completely downrates the meaning of love itself, not to meantion any teens (like myself) reading this. You act as if only adults will read this, and give absolutely no helpful imformation directly towards a teen or teenagers themself.I recommend adding a section to this that describes what love REALLY is, and how to deal with it, how it passes, how it stablizes, it's structure over time and how it grows, and many types of love.
