How to Turn a Bad Day at Work into a Good One
Is it yucky outside or do you just have the blahs? Follow these steps to make your office workday more cheery!
Start out with something simple: change your desktop background. Find something that makes YOU happy - a humorous quote, a beautiful landscape, a hilarious movie still, or you and your friends doing something fun together. Minimize everything you're working on a couple times an hour just to look at it. If you're doing work at your desk but not necessarily on your computer, leave it showing.
Grab a healthy snack or lunch. What you eat does wonders for your state of mind. If you're already eating healthy, mix it up a bit. Try a new place to eat or switch your snacks with your lunch. If you brought your food, eat it in the reverse order you normally would.
Revamp your soundtrack. If you're allowed to listen to music at work, it's a great mood-lifter. Make your own playlist of songs that raise your spirits without getting on your nerves. Even if you have to be on the phone most of the time, scattering a few songs through your day will make it much brighter.
Reach out. If you're having a dreary day, chances are someone else is too. Leave a note of encouragement on a coworker's desk. Take someone to lunch. Compliment someone you normally criticize. Even something as small as a post-it note saying "Thanks" or "Good Job" can cheer up a coworker's day - and yours as well!
Pamper yourself. If you see that it's going to be nasty outside (or it's Monday and you have a good guess that today won't be too fun), wear your favorite tie. Take your favorite hand lotion or put on earrings that make you feel special.
Extra tips:
If you can get a little crazy, do so! My coworker and I toss a koosh ball over the cubicle wall on boring days.
Plan ahead. You know some days will be yucky so prepare for them. Make your playlist. Find a bunch of great desktop backgrounds and save them. Keep a bag of mini carrots in the fridge.
Don't let your brightening techniques interfere with your work. Getting reprimanded or fired would make your day much more dreary!

John,What will save your son is your love and respect and communication and the examples you show him with *your* behavior. Do you truly want to demonstrate that his father is one secretly spying on him? The message--spoken or not--you are sending to your son is this: his own father does not trust him, his own father cannot sit down and tell his son his own feelings and fears, but instead spies secretly upon him. Learn to talk from your heart to his or you will have make much grief.

You cannot describe love as "a problem teenagers fall into". This completely downrates the meaning of love itself, not to meantion any teens (like myself) reading this. You act as if only adults will read this, and give absolutely no helpful imformation directly towards a teen or teenagers themself.I recommend adding a section to this that describes what love REALLY is, and how to deal with it, how it passes, how it stablizes, it's structure over time and how it grows, and many types of love.
