Green And Alternate Energy

Energy and its various forms help us perform our day to day activities. And that includes our internal body energy. But due to our misfortune, most of the sources of energy are non-renewable and are getting fast depleted from the depths of the earth. Besides, the population is constantly increasing thus leading to a higher demand of energy.

But we have not been easy on ourselves, on our future generations, on our environment and basically on our World which has given so much to us. It is never too late to repay back to the Earth which has still kept its bounty unempty. Hence, if we dot act now we shall be returning to the caveman age.

This is the time to focus on alternative energy, green energy or green power and to shift away from oil dependence. There is an oil crisis that is raging everywhere even in our homes. Hence it is essential to start looking at alternative energy, green energy or green power sources like solar, wind, ethanol, and biodiesel energies.

In fact, alternate or green power is the only alternate for us as a means of fueling our economy. We have to wake up and take a serious view of environmental and energy requirements. We must cut carbon emissions from transport and electricity generation to prevent the earth's climate becoming hotter.

The supply of fossil fuels and oil is not going to last forever. When the oil wells and coal reserves are empty we will have no fuel to use for power generation. Before such a situation occurs, we need to utilize the other natural resources available to us. We have to resort to wind, water, biogas, biomass, magnetic and solar energy to generate electrical power and eliminate combustion as a way to generate power for transport as well as for electricity use.

Fortunately the world already has the technology to shift from coal and oil to green, renewable energy. We just need to remove the hurdles of planning and politics to put that technology to practical use. Powering the entire world on wind, water and solar energy will be more economical than oil and coal, in the long run. Using power based on alternate and green energy sources is definitely more efficient than fossil fuels.
